Taken on a day when the sun was not your friend, this image is way over exposed. Aside from the curiosity of the depression in the bottom of the tree, there is little to keep one’s attention.

Awesome composition but the exposure is hard to get right in this type of light. The shadows do bring out the bark very nicely and add interest to the image.
