CPC has seasonal Calls for Photographers, Painters, Calligraphers...
We need to have a list of interested people to announce it. Please send
us an email to "ArtGallery at Caroun dot com".
You will be invited.
Our general rules are the same as mentioned in "Submissions",
just the contract is different. any artist needs to take a print of the "Call for
Artists' Contract",
fill it out and bring it along his/her
works for each Call.
Artists need to bring their works (Max 5) for each CALL, along with all
the documents, fee, labels, signed contract... before the deadline day.
Each work needs to have a label at the back including name of the
artist, address, email, phone, media and title of the work and the
price. CAG will select the works. One or more works of each artist MAY
be selected or not.
International artists, and Artists out of Greater Vancouver can send
their works by email first.
Not-Selected Works:
Date for removing not selected works: Two days after the deadline! Any day delay
costs $15 for each day for the artist; it will be reduced from the gallery fee.
The
gallery fee will be refunded to the artist. Membership fee is not
refundable.
- Works should be framed completely, including wire at the back (Works
on Canvas may not be framed, but ready for hanging!). Caroun
Art Gallery is going to have some services for artists out of Greater
Vancouver as well as International artists.
At present, we can rent complete frames, including matte, for
12"x18" (30x45 cm) photos for $15 for two weeks, plus $5 for
fixing and removing works.
Fees in Canada for local artists:
- Annual membership fee: $50 + (Members of Caroun.com/CPC do not need to pay this
fee!)
- Gallery fee $75
HST (12%) will be added.
Fees should be paid CASH, or by cheque.
Fees for artists out of Vancouver and International artists:
- Annual membership fee: $65 + (Members of Caroun.com/CPC do not need to pay this
fee!)
- Gallery fee $95 + $25 extra costs
There will be a permanent gallery of all the Calls at CAG's website at Exhibitions.
Artists need to bring digital files for this gallery too.

for Artists 2011
CAG is going to held the following group exhibitions in 2011:
Calligraphy / Painting / Drawing / Photography / Graphic Design / Cartoon /
Each artist can have two works, ready to hang, for each exhibition.
There are some extra services for International artists.
Max 12 artists will be accepted for each exhibition.
Subject is Open. Gallery will select the works.
