Title: Blue Nepal

Jurors Scores Critiques
Satya Danu 9 The striking clarity of this image exudes a mysticism that touches my heart. It conveys a sense of humility; despite of only seeing the back of the woman. Any photo gains value when the face of the person is visible.

In this case it can be improved a bit by using the magic wand tool on top of the head to give in >adjust< more light/less contrast. At least it separates the head from the black background.

Rick Shapka 7 Very good color contrast with blues, and greens; bright greens and vibrant reds. Good composition with placement of subject in door on left side with insoles, shoes, and paper adding some definite interest.

Light contrast is on the edge with blacks too black. It would be good to see a little more detail in the hair of the people. The detail disappears completely into the black, which is too bad.

Larry Breitkreutz 6 This image has much potential; unfortunately the women’s hair is lost against the dark door.
