Title: Stand with Snow

Jurors Scores Critiques
Ann Alimi 6.5 The beauty here is in the image’s simplicity and the high key look.

There are some processing issues evident however: the tree doesn’t look naturally sticking into the snow and the snow doesn’t look natural in the front right of the tree.

There are also these dark faded lines at the bottom half of image that are unexplainable. Cannot possibly be branches nor grasses.

More careful processing would have rendered this a beautiful image with a much higher score.

Kerri-Jo Stewart 7 Beautiful composition and I love that the tracks are in focus from near to far. They bring you around the image with them.

The tree a great contrast but is a dark grey colour with a different tone than the rest of the snow, which doesn’t quite fit in.

Leah Gray 6 A lovely single tree with great patterns in the snow. Nicely seen.

The tree has ghosting around it, which takes away from the lovely crisp tracks in the rest of the image.

There are vertical lines in the lower portion of the image which are distracting (out of focus branches?).

Total Score: 19.5
