An interesting and creative idea. I think the high contrast portrait overlay adds interest to what would have been a fairly bland subject.
I might have preferred to see the opacity of that layer reduced to display a bit of the detail behind it.

This appears to be a composite, or the bird would be in front of the image, not behind the alleged painted face. The half bird is distracting and should be remedied.

The face which has been overlaid on top of the blinds, should have been placed differently or sized slightly smaller to allow the viewer to see all four pigeons---but imaginative storytelling and lovely tones. |
