This opening in the wall, covered with a beautifully crafted cast-iron gate fits the specification of the theme. What lies behind it could be anything and does not contribute to the image's impact. The subject is either a window or a door in the theme.

Interesting structure with nice texture and old metal. Some nice shadow behind the metal which shows dimension in the image.
Lighting is quite intense, and could be made softer earlier or late in day, for a more artistic image. Less intense light with increase the color saturation as well.
