Title: Fading Away

Jurors Scores Critiques
Ann Alimi 7 Image has a nice moody feel and overall sepia color works well with image.

However there is something going on with the processing on the lower left area and lower right corner: looks like a paste job and takes away from the natural look of image.

Also not sure what those bench-like structures are but might have been better if photographer moved somewhere without these present and just photographed the trees and fog.

Kerri-Jo Stewart 9 This image is a great piece of art, and art often falls short in a competition, because it doesn’t have a strong center of interest.

The tonality has blacks to whites, but the choice of the red colour cast makes it more foreboding and shows the red leaves.

It could be worked on to take out images within the piece that don’t add to its impact or story.

Great for a printed art piece as there will always be something more to ponder with it.

Leah Gray 6 Lovely tree silhouettes in this image give us a strong moody look.

The processing is distracting and has run over the foreground in places (lower right edge). The tree on the left should be as dark as the ones on the right as it appears to be on the same focal plane.

A good idea.
