Spain is located in west of Europe. Its neighbors are Portugal and France. Because of high mountains and suitable climate for animal husbandry, Spain was the first European country that produced Knotted hand-made carpets since 8th century AD.

In 12th century AD, Spanish carpets were used in Qaliph’s Courts. 14th century could be called flourishing era of this profession in Spain.

Knots in Spanish carpets are “single weft”. This kind of knot is known by name of Spanish people in the world.

Designs of floor-covering are also Turkish and original Spanish. Carpet colors are light.
