Like
other regions, there are two types of urban and rustic
weaving in Azerbaijan, but in rustic classification, Haris
is placed in a separate class, regarding its
particularities.
1-
Regardless of Tabriz, Marand and Maraqeh, urban carpet
weaving or Tabriz type district, contains also Sarab,
Mianeh and Meshkin-shahr according to some of their
particularities.
2-
Haris and its neighboring district, containing Haris,
Geravan and villagers around and also Ahar, Shahr Bayan
and its suburb.
3-
Rustic weaving district is more common in dependencies of
Eastern Azerbaijan, Khalkhal, Ardebil, Meshkin-shahr, and
Northern parts of Arasbaran, Sarab, Mianeh and Hashtroud.
