I came to photography in 2000.
It's been a steep walk up hill since.
Starting with film, and developing my own black & white.
Then learning to use a tripod and switching to slide. I never really completed a successful use of slides, when it became time to master a digital SLR camera.

Oh what joy!!! Being able to see results immediately!
And greater fun still, the trashing of dislikes!
And what a learning curve it continues to be!!!
Now I hold Adobe Photoshop inventors responsible for having turned me into a "substance abuse addict"!

But what thrill it is that the artist in me gets to show up, because I am experimenting more and more with
abstract creations, that are mainly based on nature and flower photography.

Another obsession of mine is wandering around down town, capturing reflections in buildings. Often, they too get transformed into abstracts.

I spent many years as a member of the the Lions Gate Camera Club, holding several positions at the Board of Directors.

I've been to numerous clubs throughout the lower Mainland sitting in as a judge. And I've judged for Victoria Club digitally.

I consider myself a hobby photographer, always evolving to greater heights.
Instead of using words to 'explain' what I do, I'd rather let my images speak.
