Kerri-Jo Stewart, BPE, MSc, MPF
She fell in love with photography while capturing the beauty of the equine athlete. She then expanded her new passion for photographing horses to capturing other things through the lens, although she tries to continue to include horses in her work whenever possible. Kerri-Jo was a exercise physiologist and studied movement before she discovered herself as an artist and started to perceive motion in the changing rhythms and structures around us.

Movement intrigues Kerri-Jo and a single photograph simplifies reality down to a single moment that is lost to the human eye. She wants to capture that special moment, and explore what is reality in how something appears. Any change of time is a change of movement so by using camera movement and long exposures a moment is captured that can showcase something's character in a unique way that is perceived but not normally seen.
