Elham Razani is a professional fine artist with over 10 years of painting experience. She was born and raised in Iran and attended school there, where she received an Arts diploma.
Art, particularly painting, has always played a key role in Elham’s life. She started her paintings with the classical Realism technique. After few years of honing her skills in this method and presenting many of her works in exhibitions and art galleries in Tehran, she decided to study different techniques. She started experimenting with Abstract, Post Modern, and Special Conceptual techniques of painting.
After 5 years of this experimentation, she decided to use a mixture of these techniques in her new works. She feels that this experimentation has helped her to be more inspired and in turn has helped her to create more exciting work.
Her new work has given her more of an audience than before in Iran. Her exhibitions have drawn quite a number of art enthusiasts who have given a positive response to her creations.
Ms. Razani also teaches art in Iran. She enjoys teaching and encourages her students to experiment, express themselves and be creative.
She had her first exhibition in Canada on December 2009.
