My painting aims to capture a certain atmosphere in a moment of light and shadow and reflection. It is a cool, almost melancholy atmosphere, and usually plays with black and white shades to reflect the paradox in the nature of the human beings. My style is usually figurative painting, without being slavishly realistic.
