North Vancouver, BC, Canada

Born in Iran , 1957

Salar Ahmadian, the well known Iranian artist, has studied Painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran and got his high certificate in calligraphy from Iran ’s Association of Calligraphers. Due to his highly qualified performance in Art competition in Ramsar, the Ministry of High Education granted him a scholarship in 1976. In this way he could present himself as a professional artist to the world.

Now, he is living in Canada for more than 30 years and, in this period, has tried to show himself as an international artist. Some of his works have been sold in the very famous Christie’s Auction so far, and very soon, he is going to work with other two famous auctions: Satbe & Poonam

Salar is famous for the innovation and synthesis of different arts such as calligraphy, painting, and sculpture in his works. Also, benefiting from Pop Art, especially by using bright & delightful colors, has brought him universal fame that in Canadian Globe & Mail paper introduced him as an “extraordinary artist”, who has his own unique style in painting. Salar, knowingly, has adopted Rene Margritt’s style in his works by implementing wisdom, logic, and will. He, as Juan Pierre, tries to freely explore the abstract expressions and forms in his works and as Salvador Dali, follows dreams in his works.

During the last three decades, Salar has tried to show himself as an International artist by holding different art exhibitions all over the world. Most of his activities in this field have been in USA , Canada , and recently in Europe. Cities in which he has already had art fairs are: Paris, Lozan, Los Angeles, New York, Los Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington , Dallas, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Koln and London.

Salar Ahmadian has held more than 100 art exhibitions all over the world in Iran, Dubai, England, France, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Kuwait, Germany and Australia in the past 27 years. Some of his works are exhibited at Caroun Art Gallery in 2010.
