Hayedeh Lashai

Hayedeh was born in Iran to a Russian mother and Iranian father, and was raised in a family of educated artists. She started painting at the tender age of eight, and it soon became her passion. She began her studies in Tehran, Iran’s Capital City, where she received a diploma in Fashion Design and Fabric Painting. She was awarded 6 prizes for her paintings and color mixing, which encouraged her to continue her education in England.

She later graduated from the Royal Academy of London with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She moved to Canada in 1984 and now lives in North Vancouver.

She is a painting and drawing instructor in oil color, water color, pastel and acrylic.

Most of her paintings are nature and have an impressionistic style. She also specializes in color mixing. Along with her artistic abilities as a painter, Hayedeh also enjoys ceramic painting, interior designing and flower arranging.

In the future, she would like to publish her book of poems. Hayedeh will continue to express herself through her artwork and believes there is no end in growing, learning and experiencing life.

She has a Master in “Universal Energy”.
