"I was ten, when a public school opened in our village, Nameq. I passed four grades in two years, and then I left to Meshed. When I was 12, I loved painting and I painted portraits every day. After a while, I left to Tabriz, visited painters and interested in oil color painting. In 1956, I was in Tehran for two year Military period, while attending at Reza Samimi design courses. Really, I learned everything myself, while designing every day.

In 1960, I started caricature, collaborating with Roshan-Fekr magazine.
After 1979, four years studying water color painting in Parviz Izad Panah classes.
1998-2003, water color painting from nature
and, I'm so interested in 'Carpet' subject for my caricature (cartoon-miniature), because there is a lot to say in this field."
