Zen Buddhism has left a
very deep influence on Japanese art and culture.
It has so mixed Japanese culture that it leaves it
imprint on the minutest detail of everyday affairs,
and it created such art forms as Japanese tea
ceremony, flower arrangement, archery, swordsmanship,
Haiku...
These arts were turned into authentic and spiritual
arts, passing from technique to the art of non-art
growing out of non-knowing.
