Classic Postmodern Painting

As a general philosophy, Postmodernism has rapidly embraced all the arts. Most artists in Iran believe that Postmodernism has originated in architecture and spread to applied arts, and eventually to visual arts.

However, in the visual arts less attention has been paid to painting and sculpture, which have played a secondary role in Postmodernism. The main reason was that they have been viewed by Postmodernists as traditional media, leaving architecture as the primary manifestation of Postmodernism.
