Hojatollah Shakiba

An Iranian artist, a man beyond his time, he learnt how to paint before he could even read and write. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University, Shakiba has held numerous exhibitions in Iran and foreign countries all across the globe. In 1976, he participated in Basel International Exhibition in Switzerland and gained international acclaim as one of the great artists of his time.
His style has been described as unique by Christies Gallery in London and Iranian Contemporary Arts Museum.
Shakiba currently lives in Vancouver, Canada with his family. He continues painting and taking photos and hold exhibitions in Iran and other countries.
