I remember when I was 9 years old; I rented an automatic camera secretly from the store next to my grand father’s house. I used the money I was collected. I just wanted the camera only for a few days. I was going to take photos of the rural boys and girls. It was just a beginning for me, and I was always dreaming of having a camera so as not to return to that store to rent their camera. Since then, I was fond of photography, and it has become a part of my life. My photos have been published in tens of the Kurdish Newspapers Magazines, Websites, and International Newspapers. I have participated in 30 workshops, from 1998-2006, which were taught and conducted by the international experts in photography and artists in the fields of journalism. I was a trainer in the children art house in Kurdistan, between 2000- 2005. 2002-2004 I worked with Kurdsat TV satellite channel. Since 1999 up to present, I have published my photos in the Kurdish newspapers, magazines, and also as a freelance photojournalist. I have published photos in the International web sites and newspapers. I like
Al-Sharql Awsat , Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) and one worlds US home
etc .
The focus of my work as photographer is on the Kurdistan and Iraqi tragedy.
