Born in London, England, within sound of Bow Bells, Ellis has
sketched all his life, and painted since 1990.
His own style is colorful, using strong design, and he is
particularly fond of local scenes, landscape and marine.
Having lived in Vancouver since 1970, many of his watercolors
reflect the BC outdoors, and his works shows the importance he feels
towards the richness, clarity and moods in the beautiful British
Columbia.
Lise's passion for most of her life has been in nature, gardens,
flowers, and wildlife, and this keen interest shows clearly in her
watercolor paintings. The lush colors, shapes, and contrasts found
outdoors are reflected in most of her works.
