Farreras
Born
in Barcelona, 1927
Trained,
first, in Gomez Cano Studio in Murica and afterwards in
Schools of Fine Arts in Tenerife and Madrid.
While
in his figurative phase, he preferred mural painting and
the use of large-scale formals. He collaborated with
several architects in this respect and worked in stained
glass and mosaics.
Since 1955 he has been engaged in a certain kind of
abstract art. He has lived for periods in Paris and United
States. His work has been exhibited in many galleries both
in Europe and in the Americas.
