Christine
(Tini) Meyer
My work is widely influenced by my background. I was born in Atimonan, Philippines and then spent my childhood in Germany until the end of 3rd grade. The rest of my growing up years took place in the Philippines. My experiences from living in Manila as well as my continuous connection to Germany have inspired my creativity on an incredibly unexplainable scale. The people I have met throughout the years during my travels have played an important role in shaping me into the person I am today. I am most passionate about painting, especially since it tends to be difficult to express myself, but by creating artwork I can unleash my true emotions.
Aside from concentrating on my artwork, I am currently studying International Business and Marketing at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. I enjoy reading, watching movies, dancing, meeting people,
roller lading, music (speaking of music – I just can’t live a day without it!), Scuba Diving, Skiing, and many more.
