Liliana Bucci
Member of Caroun Paint Club (CPaC)

Born & Raised in Argentina, Liliana Bucci spent her childhood traveling widely throughout her country & Europe with her family acquiring a love for art.
She dedicated her studies in painting & Sculpture at the Fine Arts Academies Beato Angelico & Regina Pacis. In 1983 she began a mentorship with Kenneth Kemble (one of the greatest contemporary artists and art critic), which lasted several years at that time she exhibited her work in museums in Argentina. In 1986 she moved with her husband & son, where she continued to develop her artistic pursuits, living in Montreal & Vancouver before recently relocating to Miami Beach.

I bring life to each element of the composition by playing with the spontaneous movement of each brushstroke. I specifically enjoy the challenge of achieving vivid works using muted earth tones and leaving free spaces. . . . . . . . . . . . . I chose torsos and statues because of their static dynamics as a means of showing the unnoticed impotence of human being, when trying to express and share his deepest feelings. In this case particularly I preferred the female figure found it more adapted to show the emotional changes in the human being. I used for this group of paintings a mixed media on canvas and hardboard. . . . . . . . . . . . .
