Jurors Scores Critiques
Ismail Farahani 6 It is not easy to photograph subjects with complicated patterns. Remember, too many repetitions can make an image boring.

Sky is taking almost 40% of the image. Sky has to play an active role and contribute to the image. There is no focal point to keep the viewer interested in the image.

Carol How 6 The nice, clear graphic shapes and bold color initially grab the viewer’s attention. The exposure with light and shadow adds to the pleasing graphics.
As this is an everyday object, seemingly photographed in that moment, it will not carry any long lasting, impression to the impartial viewer.

Should the maker simply take a bit more time to examine this scene and experiment with compositions, and maybe even exposures, this image could have much more visual impact By taking more time to examine and experiment by changing angle, or filling the frame with those great graphics would give this image more visual impact and provide the viewer with an emotive abstract and artistic feeling.

Henry Schnell 6 Good color with prominent blue sky. The roof patter against the sky is interesting although the bottom half of the image is busy, and the lower trellis is distracting.
