Title: Vertigo

Jurors Scores Critiques
Wes Bergen 8 Wonderful lines and repetition in this image. Eliminating the sky and background was a good choice, although there is still a bit of background showing in the upper left corner.

Allen Bargen 8 A tragic reminder of the price we pay for war. This image speaks to us of loss, courage and dedication, yet it is profoundly sad. Good decisions were made with this one. The Headstones angle away from us in many directions creating patterns and complexity.

To strengthen the immensity of this place, take a bit of space off the top and remove the tree and roadway. This will give us the impression of endless rows.

Lynne Kelman 6 A moving subject, well captured, good light—perhaps a little tighter crop to omit the tree trunk and wall at the top left, so that the eye can stay with the gravestones only.
