Title: Decaying-Leaf

Jurors Scores Critiques
Wes Bergen 7 Strong colour with an offsetting black background works well. Composition could have been improved by placing the largest lily pad further off-centre, and removing the small leaf at the bottom and the intruding bit of lily pad on the left.

Allen Bargen 6 This is a good example of how we can find interest in most subjects. There is an illusion of softness, due to the water over top of most of the Lily pad, which could be improved in field with a bit more depth of exposure.

Also, if possible, remove the brown leaf at the bottom, as it distracts us. If possible, also do a bit of gardening before taking the shot, and remove the bit of leaf touching the large one.

Lynne Kelman 6 Sharp, well lit subject----lovely tones---the story IS about decay of the leaf---the leaf tip in the foreground is distracting as are the two small broken leaf fragments----but well presented otherwise.
