Well executed shot, from depth of field to dark background and a good light in the eye. Well focussed. That bit of fluff in the beak helps to show this is a live bird, not a stuffed one.

Very sharp, the dappled lighting has been well handled, the small highlights add to the detail of the subject……There is a bit too much negative space behind the bird’s head, a small crop off the right side could change the balance in the frame.

A nice close-up shot of this Falcon (Saker Falcon?). Close with nice detail and great eyes. This image would have received an 8 but the color balance is so off that it is very distracting. These birds are not blue. This is a simple 2 second fix in Lightroom or Photoshop.
