Jurors Scores Critiques
Ruby Jaggernath 9 Great colour here, and good lighting. Even the ice has detail.

Francois Cleroux 8 This Polar bear is beautifully framed by the white structure and the colors on the yellowish bear surrounded completely by the blue water is excellent.
Images of bears in captivity often look bad because of distracting non-natural looking elements in the background. Technically very good, sharp, clear and well exposed.

Could perhaps be a slight bit brighter. Adding a slight natural looking vignette to the top left corner would reduce the brightest area of the image drawing the viewers’ attention back to the bear. The maker may want to consider a black and white version of this image.

Jim Hoskins 9 Everything is just right in this composition, the colours and focus are precise. Excellent.
