This small, graceful building follows an octagonal plan and was originally built as a
residence of Karim Khan Zand.
It includes a central dome-covered hall, four elevated recesses (Shah-Neshin) and
several chambers. Karim Khan's Tomb is in the Eastern recess.
This building served as a museum from 1926 to 1971, when it was closed for ten years,
to be eventually reopened in 1981.
The beautiful stalactite works executed here are unique in their kind.
