Museum of Cycladic Art - N.P. Goulandris Foundation
The relationship between the people, who live in Mediterranean Sea,
in a critical era for the evolution of civilization, are presented
through the big archeological exhibition titled "Ploes"
(Cultural Olympiad).
67 museums participate in this exhibition from 10 different
countries and 23 museums from Greece and totally 1211 ancient
objects are presented in 2003.
Over 1000 objects of Cycladic and ancient Greek art (dating from the
3rd millennium BC to the 4th century AD) are displayed on three
floors of the modern building of the museum. One can enjoy the
Museum Cafe and Shop too.
