The exhibition spans a wide arc from the beginning of this millennium; from the forerunner of all BMW cars via the world's largest hologram to concept motorcycles of the future; from BMW's beginnings as an aero-engine manufacturer to the latest jet engine; from the euphoria of the early days of motoring to computerized transport management.

With the aid of 10 slide shows and 25 video programs (some of them interactive), the visitor is taken on a journey through automotive time revealing the past, present and future of motorized progress. A host of authentic exhibits lend concrete shape to the development of products, technology and society.

The BMW movies sweeps the visitor up into its wide screen and on a round-the-world journey on land, by sea and air, through the past and future of locomotion. Mobility as an elemental life force.
