Decoration: Incised. Inside is unadorned.
Decoration of the outer surface includes:
First row: Waving line with dots filling its
undulations;
Second row: On hatched background, 3 diptychs of
Persian poetry in Thulth script;
Third row: Repetition of the first row:
Fourth row: Half-medallions filled with
geometrical lines alternating with vegetal
patterns.
In the center, flower with sharp-pointed petals is
visible within a frame of concentric circles,
themselves surrounded with band of jagged
geometrical lines.
Patina: Wart-like green corrosion covers most
of the inside of the bowl. |
