Hammered
skimmer, with two circular skimming plates, one at
each end of its broad handle. Smaller plate has a
ring by which the utensil is hanged.

Length: 33.5 cm (13.4 in)
Decoration: In the center of the larger plate,
six-petalled flower, made up of large and small
dotted circles is visible. On the smaller one,
little round flowers and dotted circles appear.
Handle is also incised with similar dotted circles
aligned in parallel rows.
Patina: Coalesced wart-like green and brown dotted
corrosion largely covers the entire surface of the
object. |
