Decoration: Inner body and bottom is decorated
with concentric circles, consecutive combined
half-circles and large and small dotted
circles.
Outside decoration includes:
First row: On background of dense scrolls, an
inscription in Naskh script
Second row: Alternating inverted hatched triangles
Third row: 12 circles made up of 2 twirling
ribbons, set on background of scrolls, frame the
signs of Zodiac
Fourth row: Procession of animals, some looking
back, on background of vine scrolls.
Patina: Glossy black patches and mainly wart-like
green, brown and reddish brown corrosion. |
