Cast Bowl, hemispherical, convex bottom, straight rim

 
  Lorestan
Second half of 2nd millennium BC
Height: 5.1 cm (2 in)
Rim diameter: 15.9 cm (6.4 in)

Decoration: A procession of bulls bellow rim on the inside, a double flowered dahlia on the inner bottom. These patterns are incised and worked in repousse.

Patina: The bowl is almost entirely covered with glossy black stains accompanied with scattered wart-like green corrosion.
