Among the historical and picturesque monuments of Yazd, there are many buildings belonging to Zoroastrian Community.

Fire Temple, Shrine of Narestaneh, Pir Sabz... are among important places, where Zoroastrians compatriots come in Pilgrimage from faraway areas.

Zoroastrians' Yazd Fire Temple was constructed through the efforts of Yazd's Zoroastrians and Iranians living in India, under the supervision of Arbab Jamshid Amanat in1934.

At the temple altar, which is built on a raised platform, fire burns where the scorching sunlight cannot reach it. Surrounding this altar are several rooms, where worshippers may offer prayers in.
