Yazd province’s heights provide excellent sites for
local and tourist mountain climbers. There are also
numerous spectacular caves in these so very ancient
mountains, which draw many cave-explorers, mountaineers
and geologists to the province.
These caves include Chek and Ala Cave, Abarkouh Cave, Bad
Masoum Cave (in Islamieh), Mahaneh Cave (in Mahaneh,
Kharanoq), Islamieh Farashah Cave (in Islamieh), Khodai
(in Nodoushan), Ashkoft Cave (in Aqda), Chahartaqi Cave
(in Yazd) and Ayyub Cave (in Dahaj).
