Parizad School
This school known as "Parizad Khanoum", maid of
Goharshad (founder of Goharshad Mosque and the wife of
Shahrokh Timurid), was built in the same time and in the
vicinity of Goharshad Mosque in 1400 AD.
It is a small building of two floors, which was the
residence of scholars who came to Meshed, to teach or
worship.
This four-terraced building consists of several booths and
chambers on the sides of the terraces, with brick-work on
the terrace portals and Arabesque tiling on ground floor
booths.
According to one of the cornices, Parizad School was
repaired in 1671, by the order of "Najaf-Qoli Khan
Beiglar Beigi".
