The structure currently known as "Tomb of Nader" is an exquisite architectural effect built in 1963 in the center of a green garden called "Naderi Garden".

This structure with inspiration from Nader's aggressive manner and his gypsy way of life, is constructed from rough and uneven rocks on a platform similar to a gypsy tent.

Statue of Nader and his fighters (designed by Gholam Hossein Sadiqi), casted in Italy, is erected on a platform, overlooking the tomb.

Internal space consists of the central tomb area with open walls; two halls on South and West sides are museums, and also a small place for shopping. In a short distance from tomb, a library is constructed.

Nader's body, after his assassination in Fath-abad (Ghouchan), 1740, was buried in a tomb, build by himself, in Meshed. That tomb, in political tensions after Nader and passing of time, was destroyed. In 1876, Ghavamossaltaneh, governor of Khorasan, founded a new building on the tomb, which was heading to ruin soon after.

In 1957, structure of current building, which was designed by Seihoun, started and finished in 1962. It was opened on April 1963.

"Colonel Mohammad Taghi Khan Pessian" is buried on a corner of this site.
