The mentioned mosque is one of the oldest historical monuments of Kashan and has been situated on Baba Afzal Ave. of old square.

This structure has tile-covered dome, with tall verandas, broad courtyard and large winter and summer harem.

Tile covered minaret of the mosque has brick-made inscription dated back to 10th century AD.
