Aqa Mosque and School
This structure is one of the most famous and tallest historical monuments of
Kashan. It is one of the examples of the most magnificent buildings, with special architecture of
Kavir's (desert) climate. This mosque and school has been built by Hajj Mohammad Taghi Khanban Kashani to pay respect to Molla Mohammad Mehdi Naraghi known as Aqa
Bozorg.
It was built in the middle of 19th century and is a five-story building. Now the School situated on Fazel Naraqi Ave., has a nice courtyard, various chambers and a tile-covered dome.
One of the interesting characteristics of this monument is the wonderful architecture and it's conformity with this area's climate.
