This is one of the oldest Early Neolithic mounds known in Iran, and also one of the most valuable.

It is 10 km West of Harsin.

Buildings are thought to be 10,000 years old and have been relatively well-preserved, partly because massive fire vitrified them.

Apparent granaries and evidence through skeletons of domesticated goats have helped give a better picture of agricultural origins in Zagros mountain valleys.

Finds here include clay animals and Venus figurines.
