SkyDome, the World's Premiere Retractable Roof Stadium
SkyDome is the world's first multi-purpose stadium with
retractable roof. The 11000 ton roof spans 674 feet
across, stands 31 stories high and covers more than 8
acres.
To open the roof, the center panel slide back; the end
panel rotate 180 degrees; in 20 minutes 100% of the field
and 91% of seats are uncovered.
