Yard as
unifier element of some spaces creates harmony and coordination among
the forming spaces around itself. Yard causes a group of side by side
spaces to become uniform and firm space.
For example in school
architecture, chambers on lateral ribs of yard have turned into one
harmonious unit due to yard.
Since
some of those spaces have common application in spite of yard, they
get together and play their role as a group of solid chambers.
In fact,
yard, in addition to regulate its environ spaces and to organize those
in an order, makes them as a solid space, that their connection is
usually possible only through the yard.
